net porn vs studio porn

Surfing the many "net" sites the quality and content seems to be far better and greater than the studio productions. Why can't (or don't) the studios produce better and get away from the ho-hum repetitivness they now turn out.

I agree to some extent, however it depends greatly on the niche and the specific studio.

Mainstream porn films (on dvd) will vary greatly in quality and appeal. Every producer has his own style, and may not appeal to all.

Films produced for websites only, vary just as much in my opinion, however the supply is much broader due to the much lower distribution costs, so more money can go into improving the production quality or producing more movies.
