I think that you didn't mention a major issue, which is the video protection sceme of the site. To cut a long story short, the user can download the movies, but can't play them forever. Everytime you want to see a movie you have already downloaded from the site, you must connect to the internet to give your credentials (userid/password). If they are correct you can proceed in viewing the movie. Problem is that if you are no more a subscriber of this site, you can't see the movies you have dowlnoaded as a member. This is a MAJOR problem for collectors like myself :)

Thanks for the input, but I don't think you are correct.

The technology you are mentioning is called DRM and has previously been described and debated in the forum - take a look at this thread for example: http://www.adultreviews.net/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=42

If you have downloaded the videos from Kscans to your harddrive you can play them forever and without being connected to the internet.
As far as I remember they are also available in .mpg format which is not DRM compatible.

But DRM sucks for collectors - and pretty much all others. You are very right about that.
