8) Although the Video Z site is much cleaner and easier to navigate than the DP site, there is NO COMPARRISON in the sheer volume at DP. Plusses for VideoZ are that you have 3 format choices (if you have limited HD space or just want smaller files), and you can also stream video, which is a big minus for DP (not available), but the thubnails of the screen shots are very tinyand don't help much. Content is much easier to locate at Video Z, too. All that being said, if DP would just clean up it's navigation/ organization of material (some stuff is repeated in various fashion on 5 or more sites!), set up video streaming and offer format download options, it would be the winner, hands down. I'm really hoping DP can get hteir act together, and then I can renew my membership. For now, I'm sticking with Video Z
Thanks for the mini-review.
Been a DP member for a long time and have to agree that the navigation is totaly CRAP!.
Hmm, feels like a switch to Videos-Z is the right way to go.

videosz is new to me & looks good, couple of questions though:
Does videosz use digital rights management on their video files ?
Can you use download managers, my modem drops the line now & then so it would be good to ba able to resume files.
Agree about DP, hellish to find stuff.

According to other users' posts in this forum, VideosZ is now using DRM on their wmv files. I haven't presonally been able to find out if they do, but remember that wmv is the only format that can be DRM protected, so mpg files are still avaiable without DRM.
I don't know about download managers. But try looking through their thorough support section (http://videosz.com/support.php?tpid=1&lg=us&genre=1&lid=1) or ask their customer service.

Yes, all Windows Media Video (wmv) files are DRM protected and the rights granted to you are cancelled when your subscription expires. So avoid downloading those files if you do not intend to continue subscribing.
I know they are protecting themselves but the least they should do is let their members know of this situation.
The reply I got to me query on this matter was:
The license is valid as long as your subscription is. Once your subscription ends, your license ends.
Let me know if you have further questions
use www.snagit.com to grab any videos that are streaming or DRM protected .. play them and capture the screen or viewable area in what ever player you are using ...and you can save them all in you files no problem and all accessible off line after capture...
but that's just what i would do ...i would never recommend anything that could be misconstrude as possibly illegal...
