Well, the met-art sites now allow spidering / download manager use. Can anyone recommend a good spider/manager?

Something that could build an index and let you pick and choose which files to download would work best (no point in downloading all the different resolutions / versions of pics and movies, right?).
I tried getright and Go!zilla but neither seems to have everything together. I tried some smaller no-name programs, and they seem to work okay, but they just download everything, you can't choose at all.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I have had very good success with Express Webpictures (http://www.neowise.com/webpics/). It has many nice features: size and resolution filters, can download several picture and movie formats.

It has a very cool feature called the drop basket where you can drop links from a webbrowser right on to the drop basket and it will start downloading. Note here: there are a few bugs / areas of improvemnt with this feature. I am a professional developer myself so I have found a few bugs, but I am also able to notice good quality programming when I see it.

They haven't come out with a new version is a while, so I don't know what their long terms plans are for the product. I think what happened is Express Soft got bought buy a company called Neo wise (or maybe just the web pics product) and nothing seems to have happened with the product since that took place. The software costs $39.95, but is well worth the price. If you like to try before you buy, I believe there is a fully functional 30 day demo available. Overall it is a very cool program.
