| Review summary: Just Coeds is actually about more than coeds. It is about all sorts of Candian amateur women getting interviewed and then sucking off the guy behind the camera. Photo quality is a bit inconsistent and videos are average. Very manageable site. |
At first glance, this seems like an amateur site with lots of variety. The preview is fairly extensive, but doesn't actually give you any information other than the videos and pictures you get to see. If the stuff inside is as extensive as the preview, then this site must be filled to the brim with porn. There is everything from lesbian scenes to mature women to group action - you name it, it's offered here.
Just like the preview, there's no real info on the site. Just the goods. And a brief description of each vid in very strange English...I've never seen it spelled “penus”. Can't really tell if these weird little summaries are tongue in cheek or what. Pretty funny though! The main section of Just Coeds consists of seven pages of videos, 35 in all. Navigation is blindingly simple with four items in the menu bar at the top of the page: Video Gallery, Photo Gallery, Buy DVDs and Help. At the top and bottom of each page you can jump to any page in the category by using number page links, as well as “back” and “next” links.
The videos are between 20 and 30 minutes long, and are broken up into several smaller files, each about 25 MB in size. There is the option to stream or download each movie. All of the movies are offered as WMV clips, 320x240 / 30fps / 700 kbps. What does this mean? Nice lookin' video! The sound is also excellent, at 44.1 Khz / 176 kbps. Just Coeds actually gives you a lot more than coeds. There is a wide variety of action here; hardcore, group action, anal, blowjobs, toys, girl/girl, and solo. You've got young girls, older ladies, ethnic girls, busty girls and skinny girls. There's a little paragraph at the bottom of the page that sums it up nicely...: “Tastes differ! Sometimes I love cute college or universities cuties or then again I want damn fine MILFS and mature horny chicks.” So, Just Coeds is pretty much a catch-all for the camera guy's girl de jour. No matter what the taste of the day is, you can be assured that it'll be served up in true amateur fashion, with that girl-next-door flavour that is oh so tasty.
Pictures are offered as pages of thumbs, or download-able zip files. Clicking on a thumb will bring you to a slide show where you can navigate photos manually or choose from several slide show options. The pics in the slide show are a little on the small side at 640x427, but look not too bad considering that they are just screen captures from the videos. There are a lot of pics for each model, anywhere from 150 to 400, and the zip files are usually in the 8 to 15 MB range. Navigation in the slide show is really good, you can easily jump to any model's page and quickly navigate through the pages of thumbs to find what you want. I've never really been a fan of screen captures, but they are presented very nicely on Just Coeds.
I didn't see any updates during the time I had access to the site, and there certainly is no mention of them anywhere. Does that meant there are no updates? Who knows? Not me. There is a “Knowledge Base” under the Help tab, but this just consists of info such as how to cancel you membership and what not. Couldn't find the answer there.
As a member of Just Coeds, you also get access to two other Amateurs Canada websites: Amateur Canada, the AC flagship site, and NightClubGirls. These are two great sites, featuring some of Canada's largest collections of amateur photos and video.
Just Coeds serves up high quality video with a ton of variety, and the girls can't be beat. The site is incredibly easy to navigate, and files are presented in manageable sizes that are quick to download. The photo section leaves something to be desired, as it consists only of smallish screen caps from the videos on the site. That being said, there are a ton of pics and many viewing options, from in-browser slide shows to zip file downloads. The bonus sites are actually a welcome addition, easily tripling the amount of amateur content you have at your fingertips with a paid membership. Just Coeds does a fine job of showcasing some first-rate amateur Canadian talent.
