First impression

A pretty nondescript opening warning page opens into a similarly nondescript entrance page. Except for, that is, a full-page pop-up. This wouldn't be such a pain if there was a direct members link on the warning page, but alas, my window must first be overcome by a pop-up before I enter.

Our opinion

After the entrance page is another entrance page. This is the first in a series of somewhat frustrating navigational problems. This entrance page has links to all of the included sites... and there are a lot of them. Basically a site for every fetish, with thumbnailed galleries that are somewhat organized, but completely unmarked so that you have to view all the thumbnails of each set to see if they have what you're looking for. Same for the videos on each site, but I'll get to that later. Again, a little frustrating.

Once you actually get inside the site, it's not so bad. An opening page has the links to the aforementioned sister sites (which makes me wonder why they had the seperate page in the first place...) and a section up top with the most recent additions. A little confusing style on it, but you'll get what you click on there. A navigation bar at top has tabs for the main sections of the site- photos, updates, liveshows, video, and magazines (which are just spam-inducing advertisements, really... avoid these unless you're desperate to get 140k emails every day).

Another navigation bar on the side lists "site features" (third party chats and stores and whatnot).
Bottom line: there's a lot of content to check out here!

The exclusive sections of Kara's Amateurs contain very nice quality pictures of amateurs ranging from nudes to hardcore (though, again, the sets are marked only with a title that doesn't say a whole lot about their content). Very nice-looking girls for the most part, though I'd hardly believe they were "true" amateurs.
The pictures are of very high resolution and load surprisingly quickly, even on slow connections. The photographic quality is pretty standard- no new artistic paths being blazed here. The best feature on the Kara's set of sites is the photo album feature. You add your favorite pics to your album and can revisit them in one click. Very nice addition. All in all, quality exclusive photos- my only complaint is the lack of descriptions. But hey, browsing is part of the fun I suppose.

The exclusive Kara's Amateurs videos are pretty much only those in their "Day In the Life" series which follows one of their models through a day. Kinda boring if you ask me, but the good stuff is plainly marked in each girl's section, which is nice. All the exclusive stuff is RealPlayer from what I can tell, which is a shame because I've always had trouble with RealPlayer and much prefer downloadable clips. The other, third party video sites are listed with the exclusive stuff and are all almost completely unmarked on their respective pages. For my money, "Clip 1" just isn't enough, and there is a LOT of that on the third party video sites. The exclusive stuff on high speed looks really nice- solid compression. The low speed stuff is pretty choppy and blocky, as is to be expected. The third party stuff is a grab bag- you'll find pretty much every color in the spectrum of quality there, with top sites like Amateur Dreams supplying some good quality content. The exclusive stuff is pretty good- I wish here was a little more of it, but they seem to be on top of updating, so I imagine that it'll catch up soon enough.

Conclusion

What Kara's Amateurs lacks in exclusive content, it more than makes up in quality or exclusives and quantity of third party content. There is enough good-high quality content on Kara's and her third party sites to keep you looking for a very long time.
That time, of course, could be shortened by some more descriptive navigation system, but there's a lot of stuff here to look at regardless. The prices are a bit higher than most sites, but if quantity is your goal, you'll probably never run out of it here.
