The intro seems very promising and with tastefully designed pages and erotic pictures from the past. However, once inside the member section one is met by a somewhat boring page offering different options, such as photos, stories etc. Let’s have a look at them…
The menu offers the choice between Photos, Humor, Stories, Live Cams, Videos and Personals. Let’s have a look at the different categories.
The vintage photo gallery is definitely impressive. But it is not organized at all, so finding your way around the gallery, which consists of over 2200 pictures, is difficult. Members are also offered a modern gallery with over 200 organized pictures. Porn From The Past also offers access to picture galleries on other servers. Here you will find all kinds of pictures, none of which are from the past. However, it is a good thing that they offer this access in case you get tired of the old pictures.
The humor section is a joke! It only consists of 6 pictures with humorous comments.
I was not impressed with the video feeds. They are all offered through another server and thus you rely on another site being up if you want to watch them. Moreover, none of the videos are from the past. They are videos that you’ll find a lot of other places. But again, you cannot blame them for offering the access, but since Porn From The Past promised “Steaming Sex Videos” and did not mention that they were not from the past, I find it rather disappointing.
The same comments are valid for the stories section. It contains a lot of stories, but none of them have any relation to the past.
The personals service is offered via a link to another web site which is already free to use for people who are not members of Porn From The Past, so that doesn’t count. However, you cannot blame them for giving you the link, and the personals web site seems fine.
The live cams section is very nice, and it offers chat with girls that are in fact live. But still, that doesn’t have anything to do with vintage porn.
Porn From the Past was a disappointment. The only porn from the past that is offered are pictures. The rest of the site contains regular porn which you can find a lot of places. However, the membership price is low – but do not become a member if you are only interested in vintage porn.
