First impression

With access to 605 websites and 4,594 movies, I believe it will take forever to review a mega movie site like Porn Access! So much content is bound to be overwhelming, so I am preparing myself for a member page crammed with links. While there is no doubt a lot of content, I don't expect any of it to be exclusive, and as for quality? I can only wait to see if it is up to standard. What does excite me is the number of porn genres that are promised: every imaginable niche? We'll see!

Upon first accessing the VIP area, I am surprised to come across a clean and easy to use page. There is no menu list, however there are handy search options on the left side of the page. Porn Access claims they have gone through a site redesign, and have added a convenient option where you can build a personal library through the 'My Favorites' option. Considering the quantity of the site, this is an exceptionally handy tool to access your hottest sites.

The initial page consists of the newest additions and DVD content to PornAccess. Obviously the niches on any given day will appeal to some and not to others, but new content is updated weekly, so eventually this area will hit up every niche, including the one that turns you on the most. The search options are better than many I have seen on other mega sites. You can find porn by searching by names of movies and sites, or by choosing one of 24 categories, 86 studios or by actor from A to Z.

How much content you find will depend on a variety of factors, and if you are searching by category, it will depend on the popularity of the niche. For example, teens offers 136 movies across 10 pages, while BBW has nothing available yet, and Trannies offered 17. Whenever you choose a category, you will have a number of movies to watch, and also be given a banner link to the corresponding site where the movie can be found.

In the Porn Stars category, there is an 'Instant Access' movie of Briana Banks, and then a link to her site, where there are an additional 67 movies. Clicking on a thumbnail takes you to a clip information page. I loved this aspect! You are told right up front what the scene consists of, the format you can stream the movie in, and the video length. Download information includes the size of the clip, and gives you a choice between a large and small version as well as an option to download directly to disk or access a progressive download, as well as the time it will take for you to download a complete video, depending on your connection speed. The bit rate for the movie I watched was 539kbps and the size was 320x240. However there are other videos that have a resolution of 512x384 and a 966 kbps bit rate.

I watched a cross section of films, and the set up is the same throughout the site. Video size is standard, but streaming rates do fluctuate. 102kbps was the lowest stream I came across. Movie clips tend to be anywhere from 13–25 minutes. The sound is excellent, but most of the videos had a bit of pixelization. However, it was not a major distraction, and the creativity in the camera angles, the close-ups and editing are all high quality. The videos are well produced.

Most movies have a storyline, which is a great change from reality sites, and this obviously goes hand in hand with the fact that the movies are available as DVDs. The acting depends on the actor, director and production house, though.

I watched an SM gay fetish film, and the commands were fairly believable, but the spanking did not live up to my standard in the genre. It seemed a touch tame, but that is my personal preference. The video of Briana Banks begins with a living room scene. She plays an employee named Penny, and her boss is searching for a woman who squirts! She is more than happy to accommodate his wish! Just in case you can't keep track of what you have and have not watched, the site monitors the information for you, so if you view a clip in one category, and it appears in a secondary category, then beside the clip, Porn Access tells you that "you have viewed this clip." Very convenient since you are bound to lose track of what you watch!

There are no photos available on this mega movie site, but there is access to Adult Friend Finder and XXX Live Feed, as well as a store.

Conclusion

The actual video quality of Porn Access was not as high as I had expected, however, I neither had difficulty viewing the hardcore content, nor getting hot when I did! There is so much here that it would be next to impossible to view everything, and the number of niches appear endless. With weekly updates, I doubt that you could ever get sick of a movie site like this. Thirty dollars is not much to ask for a site with decent quality, steaming hot hardcore and downloadable videos. I certainly had a good time – believe me!
