Screw: “it’s what men like to do,” according to Screw’s tour. Men also like to start wars and subjugate women, so why didn’t they call this site War or Subjugate? A question for the ages, people. Anyway, Screw claims to be “the number one DVD download network” and it offers unlimited access to thousands of adult DVDs. Screw’s tour instructs the visiting surfer to “upgrade your sex life now” by joining Screw, but if the surfer actually had a sex life, would he/she be visiting Screw in the first place? Another fine question for the ages, people. Well, I don’t have a sex life, so I’m gonna take a stroll through Screw’s virtual garden of earthly delights — won’t you join me? I promise I won’t get fresh or try to subjugate you!
Members of Screw can browse movies by niche (the DVDs on Screw are divided into categories, including amateur, facials, gonzo and teen), new releases, most popular, top picks and random movie or search by “popular stars,” series and studio. Members access movies via thumbnails of the DVDs’ covers, which take ‘em to a presentation page for the DVD that includes a cover image, a summary of the movie’s content, a list of performers’ names, the studio’s name, running length and the movie’s niche. Screw also offers four small screen caps to help members decide which scenes to download first.
The movies on Screw are broken up into scenes and the scenes can be downloaded to your hard drive or streamed via an embedded player (please note that Screw is one of the few DVD download sites utilizing real time streaming, allowing members the ability to fast-forward and rewind on demand — no more waiting for long downloads! This is real time viewing, fucker!); format options are plentiful and include Windows Media, MPEG, MP4 and AVI (for fans of portability, there are the following options: iPod, PSP and Zune). Scenes average about twenty-five minutes in length. Honestly, the movies I streamed didn’t look that hot — I’ve definitely seen better quality on other DVD download sites (even if the movies took longer to fully download).
I’ll be honest with you people: Screw doesn’t have much in the way of big names and famous flicks. Frankly, most of the content on Screw is pretty random (I saw a lot of movies starring fatties for some ungodly reason). Also, I counted less than six hundred movies on the site, so I’m not sure where Screw got the idea that there are “thousands” of DVDs available for download here (maybe they were counting individual scenes?).
The best thing about Screw is its offer of unlimited downloads to its members. There are no restrictions (i.e., no DRM, motherfucker!), so members can do whatever the hell they want with the movies they download from Screw. Pretty nifty, huh? I thought you’d like that.
Screw not only has a wide selection of adult erotica, but it adds a new DVD every day, thus the selection is only going to get wider as you inch ever closer to the yawning maw of an open grave. Don’t kid yourself, kid: Lord Death’s musty breath is on your neck and he’ll be taking you with him to Valhalla any day now. This being the case, you’d best enjoy your final days on earth to their absolute fullest — by downloading pornographic DVDs from Screw alone in your bedroom. You won’t get screwed by Screw. Having said all that, I feel as though I must point out that there are better DVD download sites out there, like VideoBox, for example. Also, I lied when I said I wasn’t going to subjugate you. Lie: that’s another thing men like to do.
