As the title of the site is “Sultry Stockings” you probably won't be surprised to discover that the thematic centre of attention at this site is nylon fetish. The design of the site is decent and simple (which is a positive fact) and from the outside it seems to support the HQ pictures of the beautiful models very well.
The first thing that struck me on the index page of the member section is that that content seems somewhat messy compared to the neat front page. It's obviously only a matter of adjusting some content and considering getting rid of the taggy third party commercials, because the topbar menu still provides the visitor a fine overview and the design is pretty consistent. Besides there's not that much material to keep track of yet, however the site is brand new and it is regularly updated and in that respect I don't worry too much. The menu contains what you might expect, mainly a gallery section dedicated to pictures and videos. However, one interesting feature is the History section which brings you a very nice update to the history of stockings.. excellent stuff for any under garment fetishist I'd imagine. The section is thorough and it even introduces links to pages for more extensive info about this particular theme. Although it's enjoyable it may however benefit from a few historic illustrations and a slight typographic effort just to 'spice it up' a little bit more... well, just a suggestion. Fact is that if you're still reading you probably got a thing for nylon and kinky underwear, so I won't be holding you on any longer but rather rush into the goodies; the gallery section.
I started by the picture section and I must say it didn't disappoint me one bit. The picture galleries feature 1200 pixel high res images and for those with smaller screens 800 pixel images are available as well. An absolutely top notch feature is the opportunity to download zipped (compressed) image files that contain photosets with 1200 pixel images. As the site states; “it's all for your convenience and viewing pleasure.” I actually found the picture section the best part of Sultry Stockings altogether... apart from being a nylon fetish site this is definitely a photographer's site, however it is really nice that the site isn't unbearingly self-raising and rather dedicates its attention to the models and the thematic content. As far as the quality of the pictures go I have noting to complain about... except perhaps the fact that the shooting sessions are not the longest I've ever seen. Still some 50-70 pics per session is fairly decent!
When you move on to the video you'll see that the videos can be viewed by streaming by Quicktime, and it is also available for download... either way I hope you enjoy rock music as these clips surely are tuned up quite a bit with repetitive ZZ Top wannabe rock which I must say does get a bid tiresome in the long run. This is probably to spice up the somewhat ordinary recordings... the reason why I dare name the video material so is simply that these recordings simply are 2nd angle shots to the photo sessions. Its quality is fair but no way near standard of the pictures, so my advise would be to go for the pictures rather than the vids. Saying this I bear in mind that most of the vids rarely exceed 10 minutes in length. In the same breath I must emphasize that it has been stated that the videos are behind the scenes material and thus I guess it is to be considered somewhat supplemental... consequently, you probably wouldn't expect hi-res quality movie scenes from backstage material now would you?! Anyway, there's room for improvement in this section and perhaps it'll be worth considering a little more interaction between the models and the camera.
Let me finish on a very positive note; the models that is! This is one of the best features of Sultry Stockings altogether as they are absolutely natural looking yet they come across reasonably sophisticated and enticing wearing the slick nylon with grace. Sometimes I did miss a bit of interaction... I mean some genuine sparkle, a smile... whatever! Anyway, the pictures definitely kick the videos' butt in these terms as well, however the models are beautiful and if a little more effort was put into making them loosen up and showing a little more personality I would be very pleased.
Altogether, Sultry Stockings is a HOT site in spe. I still think it has some way to go in order to become truly sultry, but there's definitely potential here for the future. This doesn't mean that Sultry Stockings doesn't have anything to offer as of right now; it most definitely has. Particularly in terms of original content such as models and photo sessions and it is going to be exiting to see where the site goes from here and if it manages to stick true to its concepts rather than indulging in indifferent third party material.
The overall impression of Sultry Stockings is that it is a site in rapid development and it sure would fit like a hand in a glove (or should a say; a foott in a stocking... well, never mind!;-) for anyone with a slight interest in kinky women's underwear.
Overall a promising newcomer with a decent fundamental approach to this particular fetish.
