There's nothing I like more than variety. And I gotta tell you, looking at this teaser page makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. The depth and range content here is immedietly apparent. I counted 45 sites and four seperate categories. And that's just in the tour alone, guys. They boast that you get over 200 bonus sites with your membership. If the member's area even comes close to living up to the tour page, then this joint has definetly earned the title of 'Mega-Site'.
Once you log in you're whisked away to a magical page containing what I can only assume are what Brain Pass considers its top sites. There are twenty six in total. Browsing the list I see a lot of personal amatuer, interracial, fetish, gay, and even a few reality based sites. All of these come with your membership, and can be accessed at any time once you're logged in. Hitting the 'back home' button will take you directly to the main member's area.
This site is organized quite well, and looks very professional. At the top of the page is a basic menu from which you can access technical customer support, a message center (for receiving site info or even msg the admin), a cool site blog which seems to be updated every few days, and even live sex shows. You'll also find links going down the center of the page to the latest updates, top 12 porn stars, and the latest sites that have been added to the network.
There are currently over 40 categories listed with 24,542 pages of content contained between them. That's pretty darn impressive, by anyone's standards. Although, I must admit, the size of the categories list may seem more immense than it actually is.
They spread things a bit thin as far as niche goes. There are categories like redhead, deep throat, and petite thrown in. Having so many categories tends to make a lot of the content overlap. I guess it isn't totally a bad thing. This could very well come in handy for you 'nit-pickers', as it allows you to easily find a video that leans more towards your exact preferences. I personally only wish they had more of the extreme niches.
One thing I noticed, whilst browsing the video and pic pages, is that aside from colour scheme changes, all the sites have the same basic template. I've been to places like this before, that give you access to tons of bonus content, but the site layouts are so different that you you're spending more time figuring out how to navigate them than you are watching porn. Kudos to them for keeping things simple. This makes browsing all of these sites a breeze.
Each page is setup in a pretty simple fashion. You get a few still shots from the video, and a brief synopsis. There's also a few options for downloading/streaming the videos. You can choose between low or high speed video. All the videos can be downloaded in either MPG or WMV format in a series of smaller chunks. You can also download each video in its entirety, but only in the high WMV format. My only gripe would be that you don't the option of downloading the full scene in the low speed format.
The high speed videos are pretty clear and crisp. They aren't the best I've seen, but still quite good. There aren't any major pixelation or audio problems. The low speed videos are a great option for those of you with a slower internet connection. They do tend to get quite grainy, however, when you go full screen. I suppose that's to be expected with lower quality files.
All the pictures here look to be still shots from the video. While I'm not a big fan of screen caps, but these actually not too bad. Though they could be a little bigger, and every now and then they suffer from motion blur.
You get access to over 50 different sites. While most of these are your typical hardcore (no extreme niches), they are pretty diverse in their own right. Some of the standouts (in my opinion) are Bruno Reloaded, Doghouse Digital, Load My Mouth, Peter's Cum Shots (featuring Peter North), Cover My Face and Hardcore Fiesta. There's also a new site called 'Hostile Fucking' which, once they get a little more material, I think will be really cool. It has a great concept (people who hate each other fucking), and shows some great (albeit a little mild) rough sex. I love seeing a girl's ass spanked until it's bright red!
One thing I quite enjoy is that I've found practically every girl featured here is smokin' hot! You'll see some of the finest porn starlets in the biz, as well as quite a few fresh young amateurs, ready and willing to be degraded for your viewing pleasure. The general focus of most of these videos seems to be typical hardcore action not to mention cum shots, cum shots... and more cumshots! Hell, I haven't seen this many facials since my brief stint in the Sing Sing correctional facility.
While there's nothing too extreme here, I'd say the action is a tad bit harder than your typical hardcore. I've seen some crazy double penetrations, killer amateur action, and did I mention they have some of the greatest facial shots I've ever had the pleasure of viewing in all my years of being a filthy old pervert? I mean I typically spend hours diggin' for this kind of stuff. But it's all right here at the click of a button!
I get a nice feeling with this network that they actually care about their members. There are several polls where you can vote on which types of scenes you'd like to see in each niche. You get your own personal message center, with regular messages to your inbox about site updates, a newsletter, and even contests. There's also a well written blog that is updated regularly. It has some interesting tidbits on the sites history, and tons of other things that might interest you pornhounds out there. The author of these blogs even takes the time to respond to comments from users. Imagine that? I think this is a nice touch, and gives the site a much more personal feel. A very refreshing change from the faceless, smut peddling, corporate entity that most sites come off as. I think a discussion board would be a great addition to the site. It'd make the message center even more useful, and further add to the interactive nature of this site.
In fact, the only flaw I can really find is that they advertise 200 Bonus sites. I've spent several days browsing the content. So, unless I'm missing something, I don't think they can quite live up to that claim. However, there is a shitload of legit material here that's updated regularly. More than enough to keep you busy for months on end. So, I guess I can let the hype slide (just this once).
I must admit, I enjoyed Brain Pass very much. I found tons of videos here (in several different niches) that were more than jerk-worthy. While it may not cater to those of you into the really extreme shit, it still does a damn good job of providing a wide variety of material. They have over 40 categories, including: Gangbangs, Female Ejaculation, Interracial, Feet, Bukkake, Amateurs, Hairy and much, much more. They have daily updates, and add a new site to their network every month, so things can only keep getting better. In my opinion, this is incredible value. It is like one of those variety cereal packs. If you like a little bit of everything, a membership here would be a very wise investment.
