First impression

As unoriginal as the subject matter is, at least they have enough sense to make fun of themselves. It looks
like they offer a no bullshit attitude towards the whole thing.

Our opinion

Another Reality Site is very new as the member news will tell you (It went live April 1st). Most of the content is almost definitely taken from other sites or the archives from this particular company. They claim to have started shooting on February 11th. It's hard to believe that all of the 40 plus videos were shot in that amount of time. Also, the photos on the site are completely different and unrelated. That's a lot of content to hammer out in less than two months. It's a small point, but nonetheless valid.

They make good on most of the promises. Two of them are sketchy. As they are new, it may be tougher to update every week as they wanted. There have been two updates since the start, which have added 3 new picture sets. Of course, the news doesn't tell you what ones are new. There was no update this past week and there is yet to be any new videos. However, there's a lot of them available and since content isn't lacking, new videos won't be missed for a while.

As for the other promise that's questionable is the DVD quality. After reviewing the material, it really looks a lot like low quality digital video compressed to fit the web. That's not DVD quality. If they mean "DVD Quality" as in worthy of being on DVD, I could say, "Sure, why not?" But I don't think that's what they mean and so I'm calling them on it. The colors are washed out and muted, the whites are blown out the whole picture is pretty hazy.

It would be nice if a choice was given as to the size of the file. In fact, there's a lot of content, but very few choices. The videos pop up in a new window. There is only one size and quality level available. It's not possible to save unless you have hacking skills. You can't drag the timeline and are forced to watch each segment in full or until you get sick of it. And to top it all off, the streaming video is sometimes choppy, because the buffering doesn't seem to be the best. I found myself having to pause and replay just to advance. There is no progress bar to work off of and you have to guess how long to wait before it's safe to start watching. Most of the time, that guess will be wrong.

On the plus side, there is a screenshot selection which allows you to pick which video you want to see.
It would be better if the videos weren't listed in a pull-down menu. If it has to go to a popup player, then at least list the videos and show screenshots on an html page. We'd be able to sift through it quicker and see what we want faster.

As for the content itself. There's only a small handful of videos that pertain to the website's theme. Like I said before, the rest is just stuff left over or borrowed from other sites. All the girls are professionals and easily recognizable. The only exceptions are two of the "Reality site" girls, but one of them has two other videos, which makes you wonder. Can you ever really trust these things anyway?

The pictures are nice looking jpgs. They're very crisp and clean and show more professionalism than the video stuff. There is very little guy on girl action in the sets. Mostly it's female masturbation and modeling. Once again, display of the sets could be treated better. Instead of a row of pictures, just choose one definitive picture from each set. There are a lot of picture sets that group everything from one girl into one place. The photos are categorized and thumbnailed, but the system used is not readily and blatantly marked. Why not divide all the different locations the girl modeled into different sets. People could find more appealing things quicker that way and it appears as if there are more options. But alas.

Another good point is that you can get a free DVD if you recur your membership. That mostly makes up for the inability to download. Also, there's the increasingly common option of signing up for free webcam chats. Obviously it's just a partnership and it's not included in your membership fee.

Conclusion

Another Reality Site is new, but has a lot of content. It should fit the needs of quite a few people, but not all. The video quality is poor and so is the organization. Look hard enough and there should be something there that'll float your boat. It's not just another reality site. It's just another porn site.
