First impression

The promises that Adult Movie Max offers are already impressive, and taking a peak at the movie trailers offered on the tour, and the number of seemingly endless niches to satisfy all kinds of kinks initially excites me, after all, I love variety! Of course, I am never one to judge a site on the basis of a few movie trailers. For all I know, the trailers could be the best that the site has, and so a trip into the member's area is where I need to go!

The first thing I'm interested when I enter the member area are the niches. Kinks (and hot chicks) are the spice that motivates us to cum after all! There are seventeen initial niches from teens to toys, through interracial, mature, BBW and even gay. I didn't notice any real edgy and kinky fetish categories right off the bat, but was happy to find that they are available here.

Adult Movie Max members area is attractive with a good, simple design, lots of white space and a number of options to make finding what you want all the easier. At the top of the page is a drop down box containing the niches. Clicking on any of them will take you to a results page. I went for the anal category, and it returned 15 pages with a listing of 15 movies on each. What I particularly liked was that for each movie there is a thumbnail to give you a look at the girls and the action, a brief description, the length and size of the movie, and keywords. The keywords were a major plus because I was able to skim instantly to find something that piqued my interest: office, hardcore, blowjob, which was included with the anal content I was initially after.

On the left side of the member page, there are additional search options including 'most downloaded movies', 'newest movies', 'random movies' and 'search for movies', which was awesome. In 'search for movies', you can find videos based on action like DP, based on character like amateur or porn star, the location that the sex takes place, and fetishes like pantyhose or BDSM.

Adult Movie Max currently has 1,025 movies averaging anywhere from 5 to 51 minutes each, and while I'm certain that some of the movies cross categories, it's still a lot of viewing hours. The average feature is approximately 20 minutes long and is split into about 4 five-minute clips. The movies stream through Windows Media Player as 356-700 kbps, 352x240 WMV files, but they download as WMV files, too. I looked at several movies, but there were no MPEGs to be found, and no other speed options either.

The overall image quality varies from movie to movie, but you'll find that most have clear quality, good lighting, and a variety of shots from point of view blowjobs, to some terrific and creative single camera close-ups of cock pounding into pussy, mouth or ass. Some movies used stereo sound, but a few used mono, and still others used a music track along with the audio. I thanked God that the music did not distract from the sounds of a good fuck, and also that not all the movies contained music.

These photos are offered in sets of 15, with about 3 sets, or a total of 45 to 60, 500x400 pictures accompanying a 20 minute movie. The action in these photos is blurry at times, and in all honesty, I don't know why Adult Movie Max includes them since they are barely worth a mention let alone a look. I guess they serve the purpose of being previews for the movies though.

However, the additional photo galleries on the main menu appear to be good 600x800 jpeg pro shots. Some of these picture sets were spectacular, particularly the Asian Bondage set, with rich, clear images. If you are the kind of guy who appreciates photos, then you will definitely find decent quality in this area.

Extra content includes 227 additional movie titles from a variety of recognizable niche sites like Bruno B, Black Chicks White Dicks and Aria Giovanni. There is also access to 24 Live Feed sites, but you will have to pay for private sessions, as well as 21 interactive sites and 8 e-zines that come with your membership.

As for the frequency of updates? Adult Movie Max promises that they update everyday, but there are no time stamps to be found on the site, so I really cannot confirm that they do, however, there is enough here to keep you surfing before you ever need to see something new.

Conclusion

The quality of the movies on Adult Movie Max is great, but you will definitely want to have at least a DSL connection, and the content can only be streamed and downloaded as WMV files. The number of niches available is fantastic, and any guy who has a diverse range of tastes will be totally turned on by sheer variety here. I did not always find that the description of the movies matched the actual content, but this could be a glitch, and besides, the thumbnails and keywords pretty much give the content away. Soundtracks do lend a bit of cheese to some of the movies, but fortunately, when they appear, they don't overtake the sounds of moaning and cumming. I have seen other movie sites that offer complete titles, and so felt Adult Movie Max wasn't up to par with the length of many movies, particularly with the 5 minute ones, since we all know it takes a lot longer than that to have sex – well, sometimes! However, Adult Movie Max is a good deal in the end.
