First impression

This could be either a well designed site with tons of content, or a “network” site that focuses more on the bonus content than the actual site itself. I say this is because of the immense amount of bonus content that is offered up in the preview. Apparently you get access to a total of 137 bonus sites! Wow! The preview looks nice, has no pop-ups, and alludes to a plethora of content without actually disclosing any numbers. The girls in the preview vids and pics don't look all that amateur, and I even see a few faces I recognize from other sites.

Fresh Amateur Vids features a stream-lined, one-page design that is becoming more and more popular these days. There is a small menu bar at the very top of the page with 3 links: Home, DVD Store, and Customer Support. Clicking on the “Home” link will bring you back to the main page if you have been browsing though the videos and pics. Handy feature! Strangely enough, this sort of navigational tool is often overlooked on one-page sites. I've been to several one-pagers where you have to keep hitting the back button on your browser to return to the main page. At the DVD store you can download full DVDs right to your hard drive. Very convenient, but you'll have to pay up for a seperate membership. The Customer Service link takes you to a page with FAQ and contact info for the site administrators.

Starting at the top of the page, there are links to scenes from 45 models. Each girl has an interview movie, plus anywhere from one to five video and photo shoots. The photos are quite small, 550x413, with a resolution of 72 dpi. They actually seem to be vid caps more than photos. There are a lot of 'em though - each shoot features at least 100 pictures, and some easily double that. Most models have at least three shoots, so this adds up to quite a few pics for each girl. Unfortunately quantity will never win over quality. It would be nice to see some bigger pics here! The video, on the other hand, is quite nice. Each shoot is broken up into several small clips, averaging 20 MB in size for the highest quality download option. You have four options for downloading the movies: low, high, or super-high WMV clips, or a universal MPG format clip. The super-high WMV option is your best bet, at 640x480 and 937 kbps. The audio on this option is also very good - no digital artifacts from crappy coding. The MPG version is not so hot, only 320x240, but these files are about half the size of the best WMV version.

Content-wise, this is all solo action. There is a nice variety of women, many different ethnic backgrounds and body types. Ages seem to be in the 18 - mid 20's category. Some of the girls look more amateur than others, and, as mentioned before, I recognize at least one of them from appearances on other websites (I should note here that the material on Fresh Amateur Vids is all exclusive content). The interviews are a nice touch, and will definitely be a selling feature for those of you who like to “get to know” the girl. There is definitely lots to choose from here.

I'm not sure how they handle updates at Fresh Amateur Vids. The “Amateur Of The Day” was featured on the preview page, but there is no mention of it inside the site. Hmmm...

The bonus content is pretty hit and miss. Mostly miss. You get access to 44 other websites, plus 80 solo girls sites, 124 in all. The preview said 137, but hey, who's counting? Almost all of these sites feature streaming content only. I don't know about all you folks out there, but if I can't download it, I don't want it.

Conclusion

Fresh Amateur Vids serves up some high-quality video of very nice looking young girls doing naughty things to themselves. You won't see anything ground-breaking on this site, but the original content is well organized and of high quality. However, the $35 price tag seems a wee bit steep for what you're getting, compared to other sites. I would improve the photos, as it seems a little silly to offer so many of them when they are so small. It's a bit of a tease, really. Fresh Amateur Vids may also want to mention the quality of the video available to members on their preview page. There are sites that don't even offer 640x480 resolution video, and many that do offer it have sub-par audio. I think the high-res video and audio is a selling point that Fresh Amateur Vids would do well to mention to prospective customers.
