The ZTOD (Zero Tolerance On Demand) site looks extremely professional. There is no extraneous info, no stupid bonus offers, no pop-ups, and no misleading previews. You can browse through the entire site at your leisure, which allows you to see exactly what you'll get with a membership. And lemme tell you, there's a lot to be had! ZTOD offers up their entire catalogue of DVDs in several download-able formats, no frills, no muss, no fuss.
Oh man, what a nice layout. As we all know, ease of navigation is extremely important for big sites like this one, and the folks at ZTOD have set things up very nicely. The main navigational tool is a menu bar on the left of the screen. This handy item contains several quick search features, as well as convenient links to complete listings of all of the available titles on the site, new releases, top picks, a model directory, and your own personalized collection of photos, galleries, and DVDs. The personalized collections are a great feature - as you are browsing through the site, if you see something you're interested in you can simply add it to your list of favorites, and view them all at any time.
Clicking on a link to a DVD takes you to a screen with some info about the movie, as well as a handy function that allows you to find other titles in the same series (for instance, if you're looking at “All You Can Eat” you can easily jump to the sequel “All You Can Eat 2”). There is also a link that will add the DVD to your list of favorites.
Each DVD is broken up into several scenes for convenient downloading. This also ties into the way the search function works:
In addition to being able to search for specific titles, keywords, models, etc., you can sort the content in a variety of ways - DVDs, scenes, or picture galleries can be sorted according to “genre” (anal, cumshot, interracial, etc.), release date, name, or number of downloads (popularity). The search 'n' sort functions are very useful, and allow you to very quickly find what you're looking for, despite the vast selection and variety offered on the site.
Vids are offered as WMV clips at three different bit rates: 512 kbps with a resolution of 320x240, and 1024 & 2048 kpbs, both with a resolution of 480x360. Audio is very good as well, clocking in at 44khz/128kbps for all three versions. As you might expect, these vids look and sound amazing! The 512k version is fairly grainy when you full-screen it, but hey, that's what you get for downloading the modem version. You can also choose to stream the videos in your browser at any of the above mentioned bit rates.
The content itself varies a fair bit, but at the same time is somewhat predictable. You can be pretty sure that almost every scene will have some straight up fucking, some anal, and at least one cumshot. However, depending on the theme of the series, there will be a focus on one particular activity or situation. Everything from anal to threesomes to internal cumshots are featured here. Zero Tolerance also has specific requisites for their models - no tattoos or other disfiguring marks or scars, natural breasts only, and every model must be shaved. These are seasoned pornstars here, so if you're looking for the girl next door you've come to the wrong place. The action tends to be a bit on the rough side, so that could be a good or bad thing depending on your taste. And, the great thing is, you can see exactly what they have to offer before you become a member! How convenient is that? Quite.
In addition to the vids, you can view pictures from every movie shoot in the Zero Tolerance library. They are presented in a sort of slide show / thumbnail hybrid that allows you to either scroll through thumbs in the gallery, or click through each photo in order. You can also download .zip files of entire galleries. Photos are nicely sized at 600x900, and are very crisp and clear. I dunno if these are screen captures or photos that were taken at the same time as the video, but they look great! If they are indeed screen caps, they are some of the best I've ever seen. You can even download pics to your cellphone! What a novel idea.
Wow, what a great site. Quality like you wouldn't believe, tons of variety, and a plethora of content to choose from. So what's the catch? Well, the catch is that all of the videos are protected by DRM license technology. This means that you must download a license before you view the videos. You guessed it, you have to be a member to download a license. You can download all of the movies you want, but the minute your membership expires, those hot little WMV files become useless chaff sitting on your hard drive. I'm a little torn on this issue... I have every respect for copyright law and licensing issues, but, at the same time, I'd be a little bummed out when my membership runs out and all of the movies I've downloaded are worthless. Then again, compare the price of membership to rental fees at your average video store... for the price of 4 or 5 video rentals, you can have access to a thousand titles and hundreds of hours of video for a whole month in the comfort of your own home. Hmmm... not a bad deal when you look at it that way. I will still deduct a star in the overall rating because of this DRM though. I experienced some trouble with it while reviewing and that is just not a good sign!
ZTOD (Zero Tolerance On Demand) offers amazing high-quality video, excellent pictures, and a very user-friendly interface with an easily search-able library of titles. The models have to meet specific criteria put forth by ZTOD, so if you like shaved, natural-breasted, porn-star type women, then this is definitely the site for you. They certainly put those girls through the paces! You can only view the goods as long as your membership is current, but for what you're getting I think it is well worth it.
