Visit Hidden Zone
| Review summary: Hidden Zone gives you an opportunity to be the fly on the wall in the girls' locker room, on the beach or even on the bathroom. Content quality varies, but overall some great videos and unique material. Picture updates seem to be rare though. |
Upon entering the site, you find a menu on the left (with categories of movies and photos), a toolbar at the top (links for home, support, and other sites that aren't part of the membership). A second toolbar allows you to select the most recently-uploaded material, the material with the most recent comments added, the most-viewed and highest-rated material, your own favorites (which it can remember), and search for keywords.
This is typical of many voyeur and "see my wife" sites. The posts are what people want to do, not what customers want to see, which provides a surprisingly fresh set of content. Many people are uploading stuff so the content varies considerably, as does the rate of new material (which can go a while without anything new and then get a bunch of new stuff in a day).
Photos vary in quality and photography as these are all voyeur "secret" photos taken by people more interested in watching than doing and taken of people with no real investment in posing for the camera and taken in places where providing good lighting and camera angles was not the priority of the hosts. Photo categories include hard core (108 albums), nature (68 albums), sauna (25 albums), party (32 albums), softcore (196 albums), and swingers (54 albums). Photos sizes and formats and clarify vary widely as each set of photos was uploaded by a different photographer. The photos seem to load unusually slowly (even on DSL). Each album has from 10 to 250 photos.
The "party" venue is particularly intriguing. These were shot at some kind of clubs where it was not that uncommon for people from the audience to take the stage and strip partially or fully naked and sometimes perform various sex acts. Could one be a swingers club? Not really sure at all, which is what makes it so interesting. Some of these "events" seem to have a master of ceremonies and some just seem to be people who dress sexy and have a good time. Some of the events seem to be male strippers who invite ladies from the crowd to join them on stage (where most of their clothing will soon be missing). Then, in the same event, women will take the stage alone and toss their cares (and clothes) to the wind. In some of these parties, the photos seem to be partially out of sequence and you have to hunt around to find the next photo in the sequence. Or maybe that's just round two of the same strip act? Some of the events look like they could be strip games (miss a question and lose an article of clothing) but without matching video it's impossible to tell. [Remember that the material on this site was not shot by a professional crew to fill the site. Whoever snuck a camera into these places apparently went for still photos.] Annoyingly, the last party photos were posted in early 2005 and whoever posted them hasn't been back in a year. At least one of the parties looks like it might be the same club with a brick ceiling seen on Hardcore partying. Another party seems to have all of the women in bath towells taking turns talking into the microphone. Another has oral sex on stage.
The hardcore album is mostly people having sex one-on-one, the kind of husband-and-wife "private photos" you hear about. Nature is shot the great outdoors. Sauna photos are just that. Softcore includes some public events and assorted private nudity. The swinger albums include a lot of orgies (mostly by people who are definitely not posing for the camera but doing their own things).
Video categories include Beach Cabin, Japan Voyeur, Locker Room, Spy Camera, the Beach, Upskirt, VPL (visible panty lines), WC (bathroom), and partner's video. The locker room videos are probably staged but the women at least act like they're not playing to the camera. The Japanese stuff is typical of Japanese porn. The spy camera stuff is well done and leaves you wondering if it's not a set-up, that the women don't know and will probably be calling lawyers the minute they find out.
Navigation is a little unusual. If you click on a photo category, it gives you a thumbnail gallery of "albums" (there are 32 of these in "party"). Within an album there may be one or many thumbnail pages (each 20 photos, and buttons to get to the other pages). Click on a thumbnail and it takes you to a large version of the picture (many about 400x600 or 600x800 pixels). They have a unique navigation feature in that below the larger picture are thumbnails of that picture along with the two previous and two subsequent pictures. This allows you to flip through the pictures skipping at least some of the boring ones. There is also a slideshow feature.
There is two bonus sites - 'A-magazine' and 'Private-Love' that come with your membership. Cumshots (in the hardcore section) are likely to be just about anywhere. The content is probably not exclusive (as whoever shot it can upload their own photos to multiple sites) but there is a very good selection. Updates are sporadic and you can't really tell when more content will be sent, but there is a lot to explore.
If you like voyeur and spy photos, private videos, husband-wife exhibitionist sex, or just wandering around porn web sites to see what you can find, Hidden Zone is definitely worth a look.
