First impression

A very clean and simple layout of the preview pages promises lots of anal play and shows it all off about as well as you can. It appears that all of the content has a schoolgirl fantasy built in, so if you're both an anal and a schoolgirl guy, it looks like you might be in luck.

The simple and effective layout continues into the main members' page. One small "problem" is that there's a small ad for phone sex and a bunch of ads at the bottom (no pun intended) for some apparently related sites- all with "tushy" in the title. Other than that the navigation all seems to be intact and the whole site available from the top toolbar.

The exclusive videos section is where most of the action here is at. The layout gets even simpler here: 8 video sets per page, each getting just a preview thumbnail and a link for each part of the video. The videos are available only in Windows Media format and, more frustratingly, only in one size. I would have liked to at least see a low and high resolution version of each part, not to mention a full movie download, but no such luck. The videos each have 4 seperate parts, at about 10-20Mb a piece for between 2 and 4 minutes per part. The videos are 320x240 naturally and, with a bitrate of about 900kbps, hold up relatively well at full screen for their filesize.

Don't expect DVD-quality as promised here, but it's pretty decent with a little bit of pixelization and digital artifacting. The content, as expected, is all anal play and almost 100% lesbian. To go along with the schoolgirl theme (apart from the schoolgirl outfits) is that one of the girls acts as the teacher for the others, giving the third girl tips on safe anal play. This is an interesting way to approach the material... once. Be prepared to hear the same tips over and over again if you watch all of these videos, though. These videos end up being more like instructional videos than porn, which is a little disappointing, because I think it makes the action a lot less believable.

One more technical note about the videos is that they require license acquisition through the site. This phenomenon is better known as DRM and is a questionable way of authorising users. Read more about it here in our FAQ

Functionally it's not a big deal if you keep Media Player open while you're watching all the vids, but if you close that window, be prepared to type your username and password again, even if you've downloaded the video. A way to store the password for authentication would be extremely handy here, especailly since there are over 50 videos on the site.

The exclusive pictures section is laid out very simply as well- you get 4 preview pics per set and several pages of sets for your perusal. Clicking on a set opens the thumbnail gallery (20 pics per page) that you can easily browse for pics you want to check out in more detail. The thumbs are a standard size, but as always they could be a little bit bigger and not affect the page load times much. The full pics are only 467x700, which are far from high resolution, but they never claimed that anyway. The pictures appear to be taken a pretty standard digital camera during the video shoots, but at least they're not just video captures. Unless you're a big picture fan or you have a ridiculously slow connection, the videos will be the main focus of the site and these pictures essentially work as preview pics for those.

Apart from the pictures and videos that are exclusive to the site, there are some bonus pictures and videos from the Tushy sister sites. With names like "Caged Tushy" and "Bad Tushy," you can see that this network has a little bit of a fetish. There are a few other bonus anal vids as well. A feature that I thought would be very helpful is the calender. Unfortunately, it's just a listing of when updates will be made, and the only indication of what the content will be is a handful of thumbnails that aren't listed in the order in which they'll be posted. It wouldn't take much work to put those in order so people know what to expect, and I think it would be a great help. Though, to be fair, I'm pretty sure all those updates are going to be three girls teaching each other how to stick dildoes in each others' asses.

Conclusion

Tushy School has a nice simple layout, good speed and lots of decent-looking videos. The main problem is that it's a one-trick pony. There's such a thing as getting so far into a niche (once again, no pun intended) that even people who are into it will be bored. If this site opened up a bit (man, these just keep coming) and included memberships to their other Tushy sites with the membership to the School site, I think they'd bring in a lot more fans of the anal genre in general instead of just the anal people with a strong school/teaching fetish as well, especially since they're asking a premium price for their content.
