Some girls have nice trailers, e.g. one minute playtime, just a glimpse of the action to await (=hardcore), good quality (wmv with 680 kbit data rate, 480x360 pixel resolution, 5 MB file size), sadly no picture previews, but the quality of the pictures (mostly headshots of the girls) looks indeed promising.

First impression

The quality of the pictures used in the preview surface made me curious at first glimpse and I hoped Forbidden Video would have more pics of this quality level, well it has some, but it promises videos and that's what it has. There are pictures, but this is obviously not the main focus here. And the girls are indeed hot - I suppose they would not only make _me_ curious.

Our opinion

Forbidden Video is specialized in "fresh faces", newcomers and especially barely legal girls experiencing sex in different variations and for their first time in front of a camera. They are shy and hesitate before showing something - there's indeed a feeling of "forbidden" in the air! I don't think there are many girls older than 25 years, but most are not older than 20. The girls are somewhere between real beauties and girl-next-door-types, blondes, blacks, big or small breasts, some already having big and/or lots of tattoes. At the moment the site presents a grand total of 71 girls. When I checked them I found a funny exemption from the beginners: Holly. Holly ownes her own site named "Extreme Holly".

As already mentioned the main contents are the movies. They look professionally shot, with nice colors, quite often good locations and have a good screenplay - well, as far as this can be said for porn ;-). The action is the complete hardcore range, starting with stripping up to showing it all and masturbation. I think the latter is the minimum that each video features. Most definitely show more. Many girls perform straight sex in front of the camera - giving a guy a blowjob, fucking with him in lots of poses, assfucking and coming in mouth are not rare sights. On the other side there's also some lesbian sex with lots of intimate kissing and sex play. As long as extreme porn scenes are not what you expect to find, there's something for every taste.

The picture quality is acceptable to really good. The bigger and newer movies have a screen resolution of 480x360 pixel, but since they are recorded in 16:9 format they do not use full height. Their bitrate is >700 kbit and needless to say they are digitally shot. The very newest scene with Jeannie is even better with 640x360 and 1191 kbps. This new standard is quite impressive and makes future updates look promising.

The newer ones are both in .wmv and .mov (Quicktime), the older ones are only available in .mov. The quality of the older ones is not as good as the newer ones, they only have 320x240 pixel resolution but nevertheless are clear too. The playtime of the movies ranges between 10 and 35 minutes. The movies are quite big files with sizes from 20 to 200 Megabytes - this site is not easy to handle for anybody using a modem since there weren't low resolution versions of the movies.

There's one thing that bothers me a little: The free part of the site announces more than 400 movies. I count 72 original movies. But even if you would count the movies both in wmv and mov available each, the trailers and the bonus stuff (by Hustler), you would perhaps reach 150-200. I guess the idea is that every scene in the Hustler movies is counted as one video. I am not sure I support this way of counting videos, but nevertheless the statement is true if you look at it pedantically. I however would find it more relevant to know how many videos are original and how many are scenes from Hustler.

Right, Forbidden Video has pictures as well. Especially the newer scenes have a picture series to go with them. It seems to me the pictures are either done to warm up the girl and get her acquainted with the camera or to do sort of "behind the scenes"-shoots. The action is mainly captured on video. At least the picture quality is good (resolution up to 600x800 pixel) and they are nice to watch. Seen from my point of view they can be considered a bonus to the video scenes.

The appearance of the site is nice and it is easy to handle. All content is downloadable, the movies are NOT streamed and do not have any usage restrictions. But there are some annoying mistakes on the site: As described there seems to be some confusion defining the number of videos. Also a few movies are simply missing - trying to open them leads to a "file not found-error". Furthermore a few links lead to the same movie. I would recommend to rework this quite soon - "404"-errors are no recommendation for a paysite!

Conclusion

Well, Forbidden Video of course has its assets. Primarily these are the nice choice of barely legal and willing girls. If you are into "fresh faces", inexperienced girls instead of used up pros, then you should have a look at this site. And if you prefer videos over pictures, it might even be really recommendable for you. There's a grand total of more than 5 GB of data on the site which is quite a lot. And there is new content added weekly.

On the other hand I see room for and even some urgent need for improvement: It should be made clear in a better way how many different movies the site has. The number 400 is a bit misleading as far as I could see. Probably not intentionally, but nevertheless it could be specified more clearly. And at least I think enlarging the amount of pictures and shooting the scenes in both movie and pictures would help the site getting up to the top and achieving a better result. [All new episodes will have picutres as well according to the webmaster. /Editor] A price of $19.95 for a monthly membership seems no bargain but is acceptable to me.
