Meet Minx, a goth/fetish model whose website, Minx Addiction, offers “thousands of original high-quality glamour, fetish, pinup, artistic and erotic photos dedicated to dark beauty.” In Minx’s own words, “As a member [of Minx Addiction], you can see me indulge in my many fetishes and alter egos, view my exclusive amateur galleries, check out the gorgeous girls I lust after, browse my sexy videos, leave comments on any photo, go behind the scenes and conveniently download any of my photos.” Actually, you may have already met Minx, as I reviewed Minx Addiction some time ago. My assessment of Minx Addiction at the time was this: “All in all, the photo galleries on Minx Addiction are pretty hot and I’m guessing the site will be a force to be reckoned with once videos are added to it.” Guess what? Minx has added a bunch of new stuff to Minx Addiction, including new features, a section devoted to amateur shots and, yes, videos. But is Minx Addiction a force to be reckoned with? Let’s find out.
The members area of Minx Addiction, with its menu bar at the top of each page and a nifty search function, is still impossibly easy to navigate. The menu bar provides links to information about Minx, photos, videos, updates, contact, a wishlist and Minx’s LiveJournal. There are also plenty of extras in the members area, like wallpapers, auctions and a FAQ (my personal favorite question and answer in the FAQ: How do you think the world will end? When the animals reap their revenge. True dat.) You can even take a peak at upcoming galleries and email Minx via her private member’s only address.
The bulk of the content on Minx Addiction is made up of photo galleries found in four categories: Just Minx, Amateur Minx, Gorgeous Guests and Candids. The images on the site can be download one at a time in two sizes (532x800 and 798x1200), in a single ZIP file or viewed in slideshow. Minx updates Minx Addiction twice a week with over two hundred new photos. Like stats? Then you’ll love this next part! Currently, there are over thirteen thousand images of Minx and more than twenty-three hundred images of other models in two hundred and ninety-seven galleries on Minx Addiction. Let’s run through each category and see what they’re all about.
First up is Just Minx, which contains over eleven thousand exclusive images in one hundred and thirty-six galleries that contain an average of seventy-five pics each. Just Minx is all, well, just Minx — this is where you will see her and only her in a wide variety of photosets covering numerous niches, like bondage, corsets, lingerie, girl-girl (okay, so it’s not exactly just Minx…), fetish, artistic nudes, etc. The photo galleries in Just Minx have gothic themes, so expect to see plenty of tombstones, voodoo dolls, knives and gas masks. You should also expect to see all of those things if you ever decide to visit my summer home!
Next up is Amateur Minx, which houses twenty-three galleries containing over twelve hundred photos. Amateur Minx is Minx without all “the glitz and glam.” This area contains “sexy and sensual amateur photosets” that give members “a peak into [Minx’s] everyday life? This section is where you will see Minx “in a wide variety of exclusive amateur galleries featuring everything from lingerie stripping to being hogtied on [her] bed.”
Next, there are thirty-two galleries filled with seven hundred and ten photos in the Candids section; all of these photos are candid (what else would they be?) behind-the-scenes shots, amateur pics and peaks into Minx’s personal life. Unlike the other galleries on Minx Addiction, each gallery in Candids has detailed descriptions, commentary and/or weird tidbits. The galleries in this section of Minx Addiction contain an inconsistent number of images and downloading options; also, they aren’t very sexy, just mildly fascinating glimpses into the woman that would be Minx.
Finally, there are ninety-one Gorgeous Guests galleries containing over twenty-two hundred photos at press time. Gorgeous Guests is where you will find all of Minx’s latest girl-related “addictions;” in other words, these galleries have been taken from the sites of other alt-models that Minx admires. Minx’s tastes run the gamut from fetish, latex, bondage and punk to Playboy playmates, Penthouse pets, glamour and the girl next door. Each girl is handpicked by Minx and her choices will surely impress you. Some of the luckier babes in this section also appear in special shoots with our heroine in Just Minx. Fans of alt-porn will certainly recognize some of these ladies, like former Suicide Girl Apnea, Burning Angel’s Joanna Angel and Anna from Nerd Pron, a site I have been dying to review for ages now (hint, hint, wink, wink). Unlike the other galleries on Minx Addiction, these galleries average about twelve pics a piece and can only be downloaded one at a time. Also, some of these galleries offer images in different sizes but most do not. The quality of these sets varies but they all look pretty decent to my eyes.
In addition to all those photos there are seventeen videos on Minx Addiction at the present time. The videos average about five minutes in length and are available for streaming or download in two formats: WMV and MPEG. The quality of the videos, which mostly feature Minx stripping and posing solo with the occasional girl-girl clip thrown in for good measure, is average.
Minx Addiction has greatly improved since I last reviewed it and it is in fact a force to be reckoned with. Minx is hot, her website is impeccably designed and her content is great — what more could you ask for? I’d ask for super-powers, but I don’t think Minx can help me out in that department. And, hey, it only costs thirteen bucks a month for a membership to Minx Addiction (just three bucks more than a monthly membership used to cost when I last reviewed this site!)! Put simply, I am addicted to Minx Addiction (and crystal meth).
