First impression

You’re never sure if what a tour is showing you is what you're going to get once you've paid to join. Well, at Silverstone DVD you can rest assured that you will indeed get over 1,203 videos, over 228 full DVDs, a lot of hardcore sex and a load of bonus sites.

The girls on the tour look like professional porn models, and most of them are, as are the guys. This is DVD produced porn from Silverstone Studios, and it comes with access to the Fame Digital Network. The movies are clearly going to be hardcore, with some group scenes, couples, and horny looking models who will do anything for a bit of dick in their mouth or in their pussy; there’s even some anal on show. So, what we are looking at is a general porn site that offers released DVDs for members to stream or download.

Our opinion

My first impression of the members' area was that it was packed full. There’s a list of bonus sites on one side, a large set of sample shots from the latest scenes in the main area of the page, some gifs and flashing adverts which are a bit of a distraction, and images of the hottest models, with girls like Adriana Chechik and Valentina Nappi currently top of the polls.

A quick look through the index pages and I could clearly see that the tour was right: we are in for thumping hardcore with top porn babes and guys. There’s plenty of pink pussy on show, cum shots and blow jobs, babes together and group scenes. They also look like they are all studio made, with that layer of quality that you expect from scenes that have been released and sold on DVD. This may mean that they are not strictly 100% exclusive, but it also means you're going to get good porn and thus, good value.

Your content is right there for you as you enter, and you can order it in various ways. The recent updates show up first, and there were 1,203 of them dating back to 2006. Updates looked to be frequent and regular. They are shown with upload dates and some info, you can use various filters to hone down the content to exactly what you like to see, and then you simply click through to the viewing pages. You can also check out the full-length DVDs and search around for certain models.

Recent movies come with seven download options, from 1,920 x 1,080 HD right down to 160p for mobiles. These are mainly Mp4 files but there are also some WMV at 720 x 480 in size, and the older movies may not have the full range of HD options, but the quality remains good. Movies run for around 20 minutes, a standard DVD scene length, and streaming is also available in HD and other resolutions.

Silverstone DVD is all about its DVDs, and so there are no galleries. There are links to the various stores where the site and network sell the hard copies if you want to buy them, but I found that downloading was secure enough, and the end results are good. You certainly save a lot of money by joining the site, rather than buying over 228 DVDs in one go. When you add on your bonus sites, and there are nine listed in the left menu, you find a heap more movies to watch. Your membership includes Devil's Film,Peter North, Silvia Saint and Low Art Films, plus a lot more and all this extra content, and the bonus site updates, mean you have hours of studio-filmed, reality/scenario porn for a very good sign-up price.

On that note: my prices showed in Euros so there may be some regional variation when you join. But the usual $29.95 per month membership fee was discounted down to $14.95, and longer term sign-ups mean more savings. Watch out for a cross sale on the join page and the trial offer which comes back at higher monthly rate.

Conclusion

Silverstone DVD is a good, solid, DVD site where you can find a wealth of wank material that would cost you a fortune in the stores. Sign-up and log in to a large network, with top porn stars, great filming and HD viewing. It's an easy site to use, with good search and sort and navigation function, and no hassles. The sex keeps on pumping here with horny girls and hard guys, non-stop action that varies from lesbian scenes to gangbangs.

Competitors

Silverstone DVD falls into a couple of categories, DVD Archive being one of them. As there are 25 sites included in this membership, you won’t need to sign-up to the others like Devil’s Film or Low Art Films, but you might want to add another site to your list of member sites and find even more variety. Videos Z, for example, is a great place for full DVDs and scenes. Video Box has also scored well in our reviews. We have been keeping an eye on that one for nine visits now, and it keeps getting bigger and better; it has over 19,735 scenes.
